Refund & Cancellation Policy

Mayosana delivers software through milestone-based engagements. This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for deposits, milestone payments, and pre-paid services, unless your signed statement of work (SOW) states otherwise.
Milestone-based payments
- Work-start rule: once a milestone is started (including planning, design, engineering or QA work), payments for that milestone are generally non-refundable because capacity and delivery work are allocated immediately.
- Unstarted milestone: if a milestone payment is made but we have not begun work on that milestone, you may request cancellation and a refund of the unused portion, minus any non-recoverable processing fees (if applicable).
Cancellation requests
To request cancellation, email info@mayosana.com from your registered email with your project name and the reason for cancellation. We may request additional information to verify the request.
How refunds are processed
- Method: refunds are issued to the original payment method whenever possible.
- Timing: approved refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days; banking networks may take additional time to post the credit.
- Fees: payment processor fees, taxes, and other non-recoverable charges may be deducted where applicable and permitted by law.
Paused or delayed projects
If a project is paused due to missing inputs, approvals or access, we may reschedule work. Extended pauses can impact availability and timelines. Refund eligibility is assessed based on milestone status and the signed SOW.
Non-refundable items
- Completed or partially delivered milestones
- Already-consumed consulting, workshops, discovery calls or reviews
- Third-party costs incurred at your request (licenses, paid APIs, paid services)
Disputes
If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us first and we will work to resolve it. Chargebacks without prior communication may delay support and access while we investigate.
